Matthew Stonier and U17 Men win at Inter
Counties
Matthew Stonier won the Inter Counties U20 Men’s race with a strong finish
in the last kilometre. His win meant he also won the season long Cross
Challenge.
He was backed up by James Kingston in 15th and Oliver Prior 18th. Dan
Schofield completed the scoring team in 44th meaning we were 2nd.
Hamish Reilly lead the U17 Men’s victory
with his best run so far for 3rd. Backed up by Louis Small 7th , Matthew
Taylor 9th and Oliver Bright just piping Jack Small in 22nd and 23rd
respectively.
The U13 Girls came 3rd with Lily Slack
7th, Natalie Austin 21st, Abigail Richards 25th, Emer Tynan 42nd, Gracie
MacAuley 43rd, Megan Slattery 47th, Penny Horne 59th & Francesca Middleton
69th.
U13 Boys 4th one point behind 2nd and
missing 3rd on count back lead home by Alex Dack in 5th. Tom Hutton had the
race of his life for 6th in the U15 Boys who were 5th. Alex Millard in 5th
lead the U20 Women to 6th the same as the Senior Men for whom Charlie Davis
was an excellent 11th. The Senior Women came 7th despite many of the
original team being injured with Henrietta Tarasewicz first home in 29th.
Ailbhe Barnes lead the U17 Women to 9th finishing 22nd and Oliver Breed was
first home for the U15 Girls in 49th who came 12th.
