Kent Indoor Athletics Championships 2012

To be held under UKA Rules

 

Lee Valley Indoor Athletics Centre, 26th February 2012

 

Please note that we are trialling an online entry system as well as a postal application system with these Championships.

Entry to these Championships is only available to Kent qualified athletes This is by birth, continuous association, as per UKA rule 9, or residence. To qualify by residence you must have lived within the Kent County Boundary or relevant London Post Code Area, continuously, for at least nine months prior to the event.

 

The Event Entry Fees for both online and postal applications are £6.00 per event for up to two events or £5.00 per event for three or more events. In additional a £1.00 administration fee must be paid for each online application.

Notes

The above provisional list of events may have to be varied once the number of competitors in each event is known.

A confirmed timetable and location map will be posted on this website once the timetable is confirmed.

All competition numbers for these Championships are to be collected from Athlete Registration on the day of the Championships. Notes for Competitors will be posted on this website together with the timetable.

Competitors in field events, except High Jump and Pole Vault, may be limited to a maximum of 6 attempts.

A minimum 7.0m take off board will be used for all triple jump events.

Only Stadium starting blocks will be permitted to be used.

It is anticipated that competition will commence at 10:00am.

 

Competition age groups as at midnight 31/08/12, except Under 20’s which is midnight 31/12/12.

Athletes may only compete within their own age group, except U20’s who may also compete as seniors. Under 15 and under 17 athletes will NOT be permitted to compete in more than THREE individual events on the same day.

 

CLUB COLOURS MUST BE WORN (or clothing acceptable under UKA rule 17).
